Better Than Drugs: 8 Habits With Proven Life-Changing Powers

In my community, the THRIVERS consistently improve their life by using these drugs too!

Take time for yourself to do what brings you joy. If you think doing new things for yourself is selfish, you are dead wrong. You can’t pour from an empty cup.

Refill & Restore

If you don’t take time to refill yourself, restore your compassion, strength, and patience, you have very little to give. But when you take time for yourself, you refuel your spirit, just like putting gasoline into a car. You can do more, focus better, have more love to give and certainly handle obstacles with a different level of patience.

Help someone. There’s definitely someone less fortunate than you, someone that needs a smile, someone that needs your time and attention, or someone that you could benefit with your talents and skills. If you practice doing something kind for someone else every day, just because, you will raise your own vibration which means you are actively doing something to create a better life experience for yourself.

Believe in YOU

Release nonworking beliefs, old stories, excuses, whatever fears, doubts, worries you have in your way, release them!

That’s old news. You are born to thrive. Focus on what you want. Stop looking for approval from everyone else. Excuses don’t serve you. Tell yourself a new story. Something like “I am capable.“

Or you could even say things like “I don’t know the answer now but I’m open to finding the solution. I have resources and people that love me and support me. I don’t need to spend my energy trying to get love and attention from people who don’t treat me in a loving way.

Be Your Own Biggest Fan

"I’ve got this. I am making my life better and better every day. I can find something that makes me feel happy and is good for my well-being. I’m in charge of what I pay attention to, who I give my energy to, and the things I focus on. I’m so grateful to know that whatever I focus on is what kind of experience I’m going to manifest for myself.”

Practice Self-Care

Consume plenty of water and choose foods that fuel you. Sugar is bad for you and is definitely shown to be correlated with diseases and cancer. See if you can decrease your intake of daily sugar, greasy fatty foods, and empty carbs.

See if you can add something new, healthy, energizing, and fantastic fuel for your body. Take a moment and search for a healthy recipe that looks good and tastes good too.

Drinking water every morning when you wake up kickstarts your organs and gets your intestines and bowels moving. Drinking water throughout the day will give you energy and keep you feeling full for a longer period of time. It could prevent the desire to snack on sugary things.

Another vital thing is to keep your blood sugar balanced by eating every 2 1/2 hours. Eat something nutritious that will maintain your balance throughout the day.

Prepare ahead of time with healthy snacks and little meals that will last the entire day.

Your body needs rest at night and if you eat too late in the evening and then attempt to go to sleep, your body will be working very hard on processing and digesting food and will not get the adequate rest that you need. Close the kitchen and stop eating three hours before you go to bed.

Visualize Your Future

Visualize all you want, your biggest hopes and dreams coming to fruition. Studies have shown that your body doesn’t differentiate between actually doing an activity or if you just imagine yourself doing it over and over again.

Spend time visualizing your goals, hopes, dreams, and greatest fantasies. Imagine yourself in the present time doing whatever it is you want to be doing, going wherever you want to go, and vacationing in your dream locations. Visualizing what you want on a daily basis and believing it is absolutely possible is the ticket to instant manifestations of your choice.

I’m guessing the only thing in the way of your best life is your belief that it will not happen. Visualize without any doubts and know with absolute certainty that at some point in the future you will have everything you truly want. When you release resistance, you will receive what you want.

Put In The Work

Exercise changes your brain chemistry and chemicals in your body which in turn change your life. Make it a goal to do some form of exercise every single day. There are so many exercises you could do using your own body weight in your own home. Changing your environment, going outside, and moving your body are great anti-depressants!

Stimulate Your Mind

Read something inspirational then journal about it. The same success tools have been around for thousands of years. There are hundreds upon hundreds of mentors that are experts in the area of things you will want to learn and know more about.

Spend time every single day learning something new, listening to something inspirational, or taking in anything that inspires you. Write it down and activate multiple parts of your brain that are responsible for happiness.

Reacquaint Yourself With Nature

Sun, nature, and going outdoors for an hour every day will increase your body's natural feel-good chemicals. This is time to meditate, which means quieting your mind, taking in nature, noticing what is beautiful around you, and releasing all thought. If you want to go the extra mile take off your shoes and do some grounding. The frequencies from the earth move directly into your body and change your mood powerfully.

Realize you have so much more power over your life experience than you know. If you want to take back control of your life then implement these habits on a daily basis.

You deserve a great life, use these 8 habits to make powerful changes today!
